Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking a Merchandiser to join and develop the existing department. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser who has a proven track record of high performance in a high profile merchandising role in Jewellery sector. 

Job Responsibilities:
 Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in communication with buyers;
 Liaising with buyer on regular basis for new product buying
 Maintaining a comprehensive analytical data;
 Manage the company WSSI
 Forecasting profits and sales, and optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas
 Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season
 Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colors or styles) and ensuring that bestsellers reach their full potential
 Monitoring slow sellers and recommending clear out strategy to scheduling team after discussing with Head of merchandising on regular interval.
 Analyzing previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines
 Good story teller so generate stories for items
 Creative thinker to generate new concepts

Preferred Qualifications & Key Competencies:
 MBA in Sales & Marketing
 1-2 years’ experience in sales and marketing
 Experience in customer data analysis
 Good knowledge of fashion industry
 Preferred knowledge of gemstone and jewelry products.
 Knowledge in sourcing jewellery and/or accessories will be added advantage.
 A clear understanding of the market and competition
 Commercial and strategic in outlook
 Ability to learn, energetic and positive attitude
 Must be highly organized with great attention to detail
 The ability to build trust, exhibit integrity, operate fairly, and demonstrate professionalism with clients.
