Shop LC, US employs approx. 550 people in operations such as its warehousing, customer service, merchandising, marketing, EComm, Marketplaces, live studio, and management reside at the U.S. headquarters in Austin, with extended support from the Global Headquarters in India.  Shop LC sees a huge market potential in U.S. for its value-based products through TV, Web, OTT, Marketplaces, and social channels.

Role Intro- Automation QA Tester

• Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters. 
• Leading the QA team in designing QA test procedures. 
• Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
• Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process. 
• Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy. 
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures. 
• Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement. 
• Reviewing Quality Assurance reports
• Supports the product development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
• Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market.
• Responding to requests from the design team and management. 
• Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management. 

Desirables:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Product Management or relevant field. 
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role. 
• Experience in project management and QA methodology. 
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus. 
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors. 
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. q Test, Zephyr) and SQL. 
• Excellent communication skills. 
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Having knowledge in load testing/performance testing. 
• Having work experience in Test Complete automation tool. 

Requirement: 
• 6-8 years of experience (4-5 years in Automation, over and above manual experience). 
• Test Complete tool exposure required. 
• Any Load testing tool exposure over and above would be preferred.

The Automation Tester reports directly to Quality Assurance Manager of VGL.
